To give you inspiration for your next road trip adventure, I have put together some different European campervan routes.

All suggested routes are usually traveled for 2-3 weeks.

Slovenia and Croatia

It is possible to see many amazing places in a short time without breaking the bank on a Balkans road trip.

The suggested route has the perfect combination of nature activities, relaxing beach days, and city sightseeing.

There is a chance to experience the country’s beauty in many ways starting at Lake Bled, a magical place in the middle of the country.

After enjoying some activities at the lake, you will travel to the charming capital of the country.

The small and colorful town of Piran is the next stop on your journey. The place has a picturesque old town, narrow alleys, and sunset views from the town wall.

Even though the town is small, there are several interesting things to do. You can get to the historic city of Pula by taking the campervan route.

Visit the Roman Amphitheater, the Augustus Temple, as well as the vibrant markets, which are must-see activities in Pula.

After visiting some places, it’s time to move on along the Croatian coast to Zadar. The old town is well known for its historic ruins and churches.

The final stop on the road trip in Split.

It is advisable to visit the charming towns of Bergen and Stavanger on your trip. After many days of hiking and other nature-based activities, you will arrive at the capital of Norway.

Must-see activities in this city include visiting the Viking ship museum, strolling around Frogner Park, and taking a tour of the Akershus Fortress.

Austria and Budapest

The route takes you across Austria to the Hungarian capital of Budapest.
